Picasa and printing captions
Captions
Type in direct –
Hit the enter button after you type the caption –
You should be able to see it in the Caption bar..
A tip - if renaming
files, and adding captions – do the rename file part first..
then add the caption and hit the Enter key.
For some reason, it
usually loses the caption you have just typed in if you rename the file afterwards.
For longer captions, type in a word processor and format first –
This is especially useful for group photos….

A tip – if they are
repetitive groups such as class photos –
Type up a format and
just Save as to create a new file –
Then delete the names
of students and type in the new class names..
Then copy and paste –
Use CTRL/C and CTRL/V in Picasa…
Advantages – when adding a caption to your print images, a
formatted caption is easier to lay out neatly
-
It also will work in your book publications or source file
prints directly without having to redo the spacing and layout.
