Captions and Picasa

Using Captions in Picasa
Captions are a great tool to add text to your photos for various reason.
For many people who don't have access to a computer, this is a great way to add information and identify people in a photograph and still be able to see it on the TV screen.

So my first tip is to create your caption under the photo in Picasa.

This can be quite detailed, but remember if you are viewing it on a TV screen, think about where the text can go to still see the image without having writing across faces or relevant detail.

Then make sure to select the image, go to File, Save a Copy and create a new copy of the image which you can add text to.

You will need to create this file you are creating a whole new image with text included that you can export to a USB, or an SD card or burn to a CD or DVD and use with either your TV's direct inputs or via your home network.
