WORLDCAT - what a treasure trove!

A great resource for locating information on places and people, to share information on useful resources and of course, a great tool for locating a copy of a book anywhere in the world.

http://www.worldcat.org/

You can find the holdings of our local Sunshine Coast Regional Libraries, as well as the State Library of Queensland and the John Oxley Library.

By typing in your postcode, you can find the nearest library which might hold a copy of a title of interest to you.

You can also create a log in for yourself, and create Lists of useful resources.

We have created a basic list of local Sunshine Coast local history titles which we have created detailed indexes for. The list currently appearing is not complete ( only half of the titles are appearing currently) but keep an eye on the Worldcat site and also on our Genealogy Sunshine Coast website under GSC Indexes for the latest information that we have added.
